Arnaque?
Paste a suspicious message, get a verdict and what to do

A text saying money was sent by mistake, a fake Wave bonus, a job offer with a file fee: paste the message, a screenshot, a number or a link, and Arnaque? answers in seconds with a verdict (likely scam, suspicious, or no obvious sign), the reasons in plain French, key phrases in Wolof and what to do now. Built for Senegal and French-speaking West Africa.
What's interesting about it
- Rules first: code requests, upfront fees, payment to a personal number, lookalike or throwaway links. They run in the browser too, so a check works offline, and the AI can explain or raise a score but never clear a hard rule.
- AI explanations fall back from Gemini to Groq to Workers AI, cached by text hash and capped per device, per network and globally.
- Only masked text reaches an AI: numbers, e-mails, codes, card and account numbers and names are replaced first. Raw messages, IPs and device ids are never stored.
- Suspect messages are grouped into recurring scam templates with MinHash and LSH; a phone number is shown in full only after 3 independent reports.
